Dr. Mark Rykiss
After earning a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Manitoba, Dr. Rykiss completed his orthodontic training at the University of Maryland in 1982. His professional affiliations include:

He has been awarded Top Doc status for his expertise with Invisalign® and has been the only Invisalign Elite Premier Provider in Canada since the inception of this designation. With thousands of completed cases, Dr. Rykiss is able to offer Invisalign® as an option for even the most challenging

When not at his practice, Dr. Rykiss enjoys travel, the lake and spending time with his wife Barbara and their six children.

Each member of our team has been carefully trained to serve and care for you, our valued patient. Every member of our staff enjoys regular and frequent continuing education which keeps us all abreast of best practice and current innovations in orthodontics.
We are delighted to answer any and all of your questions and keep you informed about your orthodontic progress. Our Front Desk Team (Susan, Susy, Mary, Lori, Wanda and Linda) will be delighted to book your appointments, accept payments and answer any questions that you might have. They will help you with all insurance matters including pre-authorizations, and other paperwork. We are pleased to accept your assignable insurance which means that you don’t have to pay up front, do your own paperwork and wait to get reimbursed.
Our Chairside Team (Laurie, Keira, Roxanne, Meg, Holly, Marcia, Pam, Natalka, Alex, Sheryl, Laura, Kristina, Olenka, and Jenn) get rave reviews from our patients for their knowledge, kindness and gentle touch. Each of them is committed to making each step of your treatment comfortable, and enjoyable. Every appliance, KAP retainer and study model is fabricated in our practice under the watchful eye of Dr. Rykiss and his team of Orthodontic Lab Technicians. Jose, Marlon and Ian are committed to providing each and every patient with the highest quality. Each of our three offices boasts its own lab so that repairs and adjustments can be done on the same day, in most cases.

Our Facilities
Each of our three Winnipeg practices is located in strip malls with free parking and accessibility to shopping. All offices offer free Wi-Fi, video games area, complimentary coffee, and television at each chairside (soon to be game systems at each chairside).

The last thing I wanted was braces (this was before Invisalign was around) but within two months my bite felt better and no more headaches!
