Getting Started with Orthodontics

First Visit

During your first visit to our office, we will provide a comprehensive initial examination including the collection of digital facial and intra-oral photographs. Dr. Rykiss will perform an extensive examination and discuss all treatment options, duration of treatment, and other related issues. Our treatment coordinator will provide you with treatment fees, flexible interest-free payment options, and assist you with all of your insurance paperwork.

Should you decide to proceed with treatment that day, the necessary dental records may be taken immediately after the consultation. Lots of information is provided at this initial examination.

Payment Options

Payment options and insurance benefits will be reviewed on your first visit. A down payment is received on the day orthodontic records are taken. For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Interac, personal cheque or cash. Flexible interest-free payment plans are available. We accept all assignable and applicable insurance plans.

Our three locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:40am to 5:00pm. Please book your appointment at the location that is most convenient for you. You may prefer to be seen at another location, when convenient.

At each appointment, our staff will inform you of the procedure to be done that day and of the procedure and appointment time necessary next time. We are pleased to book your next appointment before you leave. Or you may call, our offices and book your appointments at your convenience.
